Utilizing the JourneyGo 4G LTE hotspot for power bank function or charging external devices
Pre-requisites for correct operation of the power bank function:
1. The JourneyGo must be powered on
2. The JourneyGo must be at a minimum of 80% state of charge (to start)
3. The customer must use the USB Type C to USB Type A adapter included with the JourneyGo hotspot
4. The included USB Type C to USB Type A adapter must be directly connected to the USB Type C port on the side of the JourneyGo hotspot.
Note: The adapter triggers the power bank function and cannot be connected anywhere else in line or in a different order.
To verify that the battery bank mode is functioning:
When the correct USB Type C to USB Type A adapter is plugged in, and all pre-requisite conditions are met, the LED indicator bar will begin to continuously “sweep” or “phase” in an outward direction. This light pattern signifies charging power being sent over USB from the JourneyGo hotspot.
(This light bar pattern is similar to a JourneyGo hotspot being charged, but in the opposite direction)
